Sunset MESA Well Represented at the "Future City" Competition!

The Future City Competition was a great learning experience for students who had been preparing for the event for several weeks. Each group prepared a "Future City" scale model, wrote two essays, and gave an oral presentation to two different set of judges. They also participated in a corresponding "difficult question-and answer" session.

Kudos go to the "California City" team which was selected as the best overall from Sunset Middle School. An extended congratulations to the "City of Lights" team for receiving the award for "Most Innovative Use of Science and Technology." Camille, Brooke, Jaycee, and Sara received a special recognition plaque for this event.
